MDS was part of SQL Server 2000 Data Transformation Services (DTS),
and is now deprecated in SQL Server 2005.

1999, July 20th - Support for SQL Server Repository
Meta Integration partners with the Microsoft SQL Server group,
as an early implementor of Microsoft metadata integration solutions.
On July 20th, 1999, Meta Integration releases MIMB v2.3.0
with support for the Open Information Model (OIM) metamodel
and the XML Interchange Format (XIF) for the Microsoft Repository version 2.x.
